Boys will be boys, right?! I loved this family with three, count 'em, three grown boys (whom I should probably call men). I love my one boy. But almost daily, I thank God I only had one. 'Cause boys are crazy, and they smell, and they are BOYS! So to the mother of these three MEN, well done! You deserve a little something extra each year in your Christmas stocking because, let's be honest, you really raised, and are raising FOUR grown boys (no offense dad, but I have a husband too)!

Ryan & Jackson
For being just 9 months old, this little guy made my job easy. He came to his shoot, ready to smile, and giggle and do just about whatever we needed him to do. I love when little babes cooperate with me. I've enlisted Jackson to help Dru start listening to me. Plus, big brother did exactly what he needed to do, look at the camera and smile while we all did the song and dance for Jackson. It worked out perfectly. Besides that, Ryan played basketball with Grady during Jackson's pictures and now I think Grady has a new best friend. Great boys, great family, I couldn't have started my indoor sessions any better!
The Schinkoeth Family
Well, I've known this family since I was about 9(ish)...so how amazing that I still get to see them, and photograph them and basically hang out with them during their family session?! It's pretty amazing. We can chat about when us girls had bangs taller then our dads and then switch over to how the "grown-ups" are now retiring and how we have become the mom's and dad's with little kids!
I guess when you say "life-long friendship" this is what they are talking about!
The Freed Family
Ugh, it's almost sickening how gorgeous this family is. The girls, the parents...they had it all! But beyond their seemingly flawless looks, they were sweet and polite (one of my most favorite traits) and just one of those families you want to be around. We had such a great time - even in chilly weather (but nothing like today!) - and I could have spent hours hanging out and talking with them. What a great family to know!
The Mathis Family
These pictures seem so long ago (maybe because the weather was tolerable outside...unlike today), but it's only been just over a month since we took these pictures. And I can easily remember the dynamic of this family. Baby girl wants to be near her daddy at all times and big brother is NOT shy in front of the camera. He was just a little ham and was willing to try just about any pose I asked him to. I love a family dynamic where everyone knows their place and they are all ok with it!
