Tara & Tom...and the Kiddos

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to see friends that I may have never been able to reconnect with. This is a friend from high school. That thanks to Facebook reconnected us. And then thanks to Facebook again (all you haters out there don't know what you're missing) connected us to see each other through a photography session. Thanks Tara for reaching out to me after all these years and giving me the opportunity to photograph your family and see you and meet your delightful children. And might I add, that if you look on my website and see a sweet little boy with a knitted football hat on...this is him - "all grown up!" Still as cute as ever. And don't forget about sister and her FABULOUS nail polish!

The Pelant Family

So when you meet a guy and marry him and then move into the house HE bought, you are kind of stuck with whomever he is living next to. Luckily for me, the people he lived lived next to was THIS FAMILY. And although it took us until we both had kids to connect, it's been a connection of friendship ever since. I've know both of the kids literally since birth. And although we are no longer neighbors, we have still stayed connected as friends and much more. Thanks for sharing your family with me once again!

The Villar Family

What a bunch of troopers! Look at the smiles and happiness we got from these kids and it wasn't the ideal day for little kids to be outside.  If they are willing to smile for the camera, and be this happy in less than ideal weather, I can only imagine what great kids they are the rest of the time. Thank you to this family for their adventurous spirits during our photoshoot. What a great family and also a couple of gorgeous kids!

Landry

Scroll through these few pictures and watch this big, brown-eyed boy bloom right in front of the camera. I love the first picture, love it!! He was looking at me like, "Why did my parents just take me out of my nice warm, cozy car and bring me outside in this cold, drizzly weather so that this lady could stick a giant camera in my face and tell me to smile?" But after a just a few minutes and a few spins and giggles (by me) he got so excited and opened right up. We started running around together and we were able to capture his real fun-loving, sweet, polite and little boy personality. What a little stud muffin...watch out ladies!

The Suchar Family

These families just keep getting cuter and happier and oh so NICE. This family was just plain old nice...all of them. But I'll tell you the one thing that stood out for me, was how much Mom and Dad were still so obviously in love. Ugh - that was so sweet to see. They love their boys but still have this special love for each other. It felt like the "honeymoon phase" yet they have two young boys they are raising. I could learn a lot from this family...A LOT!
